#WOC2015 promises the biggest show in 6-years with over 1,400 exhibitors. There will be plenty of things to do and people to see at 2015’s edition of World of Concrete, especially considering the event is taking place in Las Vegas. It is not my concern in telling you what to do while you’re there but merely provide a POV on six notes to keep in mind.
1. Visit The Kryton Booth
Of course I’m going to have this as #1.
With this year’s World of Concrete so large, Kryton will be bringing down its biggest team in our history. The booth will be decked out with all the information you need on building durable, resilient and sustainable concrete structures and infrastructure. With the green movement’s voice becoming louder, finding the best products that will do the job for the life of concrete is of vital importance.
Find all that information at booth S-10721!
2. Connect and Network
With over 1,400 exhibitors at the 40th anniversary show, networking will be inevitable. With so many booths, many of the associations that guide our industry will be on hand providing great information and insight into the years, and even decades ahead.
The insight gained will keep your company prepared heading into uncertain economic environments, which is always nice to be. The American Concrete Institute, International Concrete Repair Institute and he American Shotcrete Association, just to name a few, will all have booths set up for you to connect.
3. Plan Ahead
With so much to do and so little time to do it, having a concrete plan before you arrive to the massive tradeshow will help in using your time economically. You don’t want to be looking back on the event and find out you missed something that could have been really beneficial to your company. Ensure that you plan ahead by looking at the World of Concrete schedule http://worldofconcrete.com/Attendee/Schedule/Index , or downloading the World of Concrete Mobile App http://www.worldofconcrete.com/Footer/Mobile
4. Learn Something
The World of Concrete is gathering the foremost experts in the concrete and construction industry, which would make it a prime candidate to learn a few things while you’re present. The World of Concrete has many offerings, which include seminars, launches, roundtables, etc. Taking these in will only enhance your experience and keep you abreast of new ideas heading into 2015.
On that subject, Kryton’s VP of Product Development, Kevin Yuers will be holding a media conference to launch two new products to Kryton’s arsenal. The first is Krytonite Swelling Waterstop and the second Krystol Repair Grout. Check out our booth and the press conference for all of the details.
The weather will most likely be sweltering – it is a desert. You will most certainly be thirsty and ready for some entertainment.
Kryton has you covered!
Come by our booth at 2 p.m. from February 3-5 for a free drink and some mid-afternoon entertainment.
6. Social Media
Be present on social media, whether you are a company or an individual, social media is here to stay and will only expand in importance as we move into the technologically savvy future. The tradeshow happenings will be socialized through various outlets must notably on Twitter. The show hashtag is #WOC2015 and has been getting a lot of play before the show, which will only increase during the ShowTime.
Kryton is available and will be sharing on our Facebook, Twitter (@KrytonIntl), Google+ and LinkedIn sharing outlets. Don’t be strangers; connect with us both on social media and in person at booth S-10721.
